Is this really free?
Yes. CalAIM is a Medi-Cal benefit. If you qualify, there is no cost to you.
How is this different from IHSS?
IHSS is a separate program. CalAIM can provide care while you’re waiting for IHSS approval, or supplement your IHSS hours if you need more support.
How long does approval take?
Most families have care in place within 2 weeks of their initial call.
What if I don't have Medi-Cal?
We also offer private pay home care and accept various insurance and funding sources.
